I've got a show coming next weekend - posted to Upcoming Events, but I wanted to share here as well.  It's new this year, and filled with amazing wearable art - clothing, bags (such as the ones I will be taking), hats and jewellery are included in the selection.

I've done it - all 7 bags I wanted to get done are finished!  I might get more done by the Tour in September, but I'm pleased I've done this many in time for that show.

From an indigo dyed shibori (Japanese resist dyeing technique) sample of mine, which I manipu...

I'm more than halfway through my goal - I've got three more after these I want to get done before my first fall show of the year.  There are pockets inside each bag, and handles which are shaped for comfortable grip.

Those shown (also shared on Instagram!) are...

If you found yesterday's Instagram post you'll already know, but if not, I'd like to show you what I've been making.  This is the first of a series of large carry-all bags combining digitally printed fabrics (cotton or cotton-linen) using my print designs and solid col...

I finished the fourth of a series of four butterflies painted on 30" x 30" square canvasses. I've used some metallic bronze paint for the edges of the wings, and thin glazes of colour.

I completed another piece I had started a while ago and set aside.  I've made only a few adjustments, strengthening shadows and the like.  It, like the foggy tree I posted recently, needs a good title, which I am still working on.

I went to a great two day workshop recently, exploring landscape painting, using limited palettes, scraper tools, and other fun things.  I'm not going to post the unfinished demo pieces I worked on, but I'm pretty pleased with the results.

After that, I also picke...
