Piece of the Week - Bouquets

These two paintings share the same starting point - a black & white sketch I did earlier, and rediscovered in a sketchbook. I still liked the sketch, and decided to build on it. I started with Red Bouquet, on the right, and later started Blue Bouquet on the left. It has been interesting showing the two together and listening to viewers preferences - it does seem people like one or the other quite strongly. I could potentially see myself doing a third on this theme at some stage - maybe after I finish some of the pieces I am working on!
